Like the Ollipogs, these little characters were made for use in the online community of Second Life. If you join Second Life, you could purchase one of these little things, and use it as your inworld persona. Heck, you could get all of them if you wanted to.

These were created by manipulating the inworld polygons (called “prims”) to create a wearable tiny robot.
